A river flowing between Europe and Asia. The other side of the river is the gateway to a new world. A place where I wanted to stand during a longer journey.

ヨーロッパとアジアの間を流れる川。対岸は新しい世界への入口。もっと長い旅の途中で立ちたかった場所。




It was the children, again, who relieved me of my initial nervousness.

最初の緊張を解いてくれたのは、やっぱり子供だった。




Shortly after the sun set, a large moon rose, and the realization of the earth's rotation turned into a travel sentiment.

日が沈んで間もなく、大きな月が昇って、自転の実感が旅情に変わった。




Try walking down different streets than I did yesterday, even in the city I arrived in yesterday, because I am leaving here tomorrow.

昨日と違う道を歩いてみる。昨日着いた街でも、明日去る街だから。




How could they have done it so beautifully only in gray colors?

灰色一色で、よくここまで美しくできたもんだ。




Lights, arranged lights. I kept looking up at them, not knowing why I thought they were beautiful, and my neck stiffened.

光、並べられた光。なぜそれを美しいと思うのか。わからないまま眺め続けて、首がつった。





But to be very honest, I thought it would be even more beautiful.

でもすごく正直に言うと、もっと美しいと思ってた。




The sense of immorality of having an palace underground.

地下宮殿というだけで背徳感。




Medusa is upside down and under a pillar. I won't read the explanation yet because I want to enjoy my imagination first.

メデューサは天地逆さで柱の下敷き。解説はまだ読まない。今は想像を楽しみたいから。




Silverwares tempt you on your way toward the sweet smells. You might buy fish even though you meant to buy meat, or buy more spices. It's hard to find a way out of this market shopping.

甘い匂いのする方へ、向かう途中で銀食器の誘惑。肉のつもりが魚になって、スパイスを買い足したり。出口の見えない市場の買い物。




The mackerel sandwich is a miracle.

奇跡の美味さ、鯖サンド。




Cobblestone pattern on brand new asphalt. The natural habit of this city, which has always been beautiful, to stay beautiful.

真新しいアスファルトに石畳模様。ずっと昔から美しい都だったこの街の、美しくあろうとする自然な習性。




In an arid land, the ivy-like Islamic decoration evokes heaven.

蔦のようなイスラム装飾。乾燥の地で天国を想わせる。




The life of a king surrounded by jewels and beautiful people. Its joys and sorrows must be completely different from my imagination.

宝石と美女に囲まれた王の生活。その楽しさも哀しさも、僕の想像とは全く違うのだろう。




There is sky, sea, greenery, beautiful people, sun, moon and stars. Yet, one cannot stay only here, but go to the west and to the east.

空があって、海があって、緑があって、美しい人々と、太陽と月と星があって、それでも此処だけに留まっていられず、西へ東へ。




Connecting your body to the sea at your own will and enjoying the time of being tied down.

自ら身体を海と繋いで、身動きのとれない時間を楽しむ遊び。




I almost forget it because I'm always in motion, that everything keeps moving even when I stop moving.

動きっぱなしだと忘れそうになる。自分が止まっても、全ては動き続けることを。




I, who do not spin, cannot see their God.

回転しない僕に、神は見えない。
