A small vehicle to expand someone's world. It is like a spaceship.

世界を拡げてくれる小さな乗り物。まるで宇宙船。




An island day.

I saw a turtle flying in the sea.

亀を見た、海を飛ぶ。




It has been a long time since I painted poor paintings.

久しぶりに下手な絵を数枚描いた。




This should not be approached. I realized after approaching.

これは、近づいちゃいけない。近づいてから気づいた。



                                                           
Sometimes nothing touches my heart.

何も響かない時もある。




The mosque looks heavy absorbing the rain. It has been a long time since it was brought to this unexpectedly humid land.

雨を吸って、ずっしり重そうなモスク。思いがけぬ湿潤の土地に運ばれたのは遠い昔。




Which is more stifling, explicit rules or ambiguous common sense?

明文化されたルールと漠然とした常識。どちらが息苦しいだろうか。




Moving gives meaning to time.

移動が時間に意味を与えてくれる。




Students dressed in white boarded the bus, brightly lighting up the dimly lit bus.

乗り込んできた学生たち、照明の無いバスの中を照らした。

The morning of leaving.

去る朝。




A lightly sweet and salty sports drink, just delicious.

薄ら甘じょっぱいスポーツドリンク、ちょうど美味い。




A smoking in the connecting section. A pure smoking, thinking only of not extinguishing the fire in the damp wind.

連結部で一服。湿った風に火種を消してしまわないことをだけを考える、純粋な一服。




It never gives me the facts. That's what I like about the view from the train window.

答えをくれない。それが車窓のいいところ。


                                                                                                                
When it was dark enough, I got off the train and looked for a place to stay. The joy of sleeping in a place that was not the planned destination.

十分暗くなったから、電車を降りて宿を探した。目的地じゃなかった場所で眠る愉しさ。




A sleep-deprived morning after struggling with a large rat all night. I drooled over the upcoming time I was going to spend zoning out on the train.

ひと晩中、大鼠と格闘したあとの寝不足の朝。電車でボーっと過ごすこれからの時間に涎が出た。


                                                                                                                 
No matter what moment in this world I cut out, there will be a piece that everyone can relate to.

この世界のどんな瞬間を切り取っても、万人が共感できる欠片があるような気がする。




Neither the best nor the worst day.

最高でも最悪でもない日。




There are many people in our lives whom we meet for only a few seconds.

人生で、たった数秒しか会わない人も沢山いる。




Memory of a cool, gentle morning before the glare and the squall ease me through my exhaustion until the time I fall asleep.

ギラギラの前、スコールの前。涼しく優しい朝の記憶が、眠る時まで疲れ続ける僕を癒す。




The houses looked like plants that grow in the heat and humidity.

家たちが植物に見えた。熱気と湿気で育つような。




The too inevitable form of a bamboo screen-shaped billboard.

すだれ看板の必然すぎるかたち




The greatness of this guy is that he easily transcends the barriers of food culture.

食文化の壁を軽々と越える、こやつの凄さ。




The pleasure of eating a thousand colors.

千の色を食べる喜び。




The vegetables, meat, and fish that are brought in daily far outnumber humans. They must be different from each other, just as all humans are different from each other. As I was thinking about such a thing, a tomato tumbled off the truck.

日々運ばれるのは、人間の数を優に超える野菜、肉、魚。全ての人間が異なるように、彼らもそれぞれ異なっているはず。そんなことを考えていたら、トラックからトマトがひとつ転げ落ちた。
