- The Border of Honduras & Nicaragua 国境 -
From Honduras to Nicaragua, two countries whose names I didn't even know before I came here. My world is gradually becoming more colorful.
ホンジュラスからニカラグアへ。 ここに来るまで名前も知らなかった二つの国。 世界が少しずつ色づいてゆく。
- Managua マナグア -
A giant cross by the lake, sparsely standing living and abandoned buildings. The silent center of the capital, where the sense of perspective can be lost.
湖畔の巨大な十字架。 まばらに立つ生きたビル、そうでないビル。 遠近感覚が消える、無音の首都中心部。
People live in abandoned buildings. This scenery looked familiar from movies and cartoons, but there, this smell was not there.
廃墟ビルに人が住む。 映画や漫画で見覚えがある景色。 そこに、この臭いは映っていなかったけれど。
Time cannot be rewound.
時間は、巻き戻せない。
Unlike the empty center of the city, the suburban market was vibrant. The real engine of a city is often hard to see.
空っぽの中心部とは違って、郊外の市場は活気に溢れていた。 街のエンジンは、見えにくい場所にある。
Rocking chairs sway in front of many houses. Swaying, swaying, colors and smells. What I remember more than anything else about this city is its pleasant swaying.
多くの軒先にロッキンチェアーが揺れる。 ゆーらゆら。揺れる揺れる、色も匂いも。 この街で何よりも覚えているのは、その心地よい揺れ。
