Day 2 of the Land Cruiser trip, yesterday and today we are on different planets.
ランクルの旅、2日目。昨日と今日は別の惑星。
A large flock of flamingos on a lake at an altitude of 3,500 meters. I wasn't even sure if I was surprised because there was already too much of everything.
標高3,500mの湖にフラミンゴの大群。自分が驚いているのかさえ、よくわからなかった。もう、なんでもありすぎて。
Lunch for the living. The reason it tastes so good is because life is rare here.
生きるためのランチ。やけに美味しいのは、ここでは生命が稀だから。
This rock will fall someday as it is scraped by the wind. I would like to be there when it happens, but it seems impossible with this body.
風に削られて、いつか落ちる。その時に立ち会いたいけど、この身体じゃ無理っぽい。

Tonight's lodging was on the shores of a red lake. I felt like I was no longer on the earth.
今夜の宿は赤い湖の畔。もう、地球にいない気がしていた。

Running on freshly awakened planet.
目覚めたばかりの星を走る。
Steam from pores.
毛穴から蒸気。
Every time this planet looks like a living thing, I feel a little relieved. Even if there are no eyes or mouths, even if its growth and death are ambiguous, if everything is alive, I feel a little less afraid.
この星が生き物のように見える度、少し安心する。目や口が無くても、成長や死が曖昧でも、全てが生きているとしたら、少し怖くなくなる。
