At the end of an hour-long mountain trail, the temple was waiting for me with its best face.
約1時間の山道の先、神殿は決め顔で待っていた。
First, it's big.
まず、大きい。
Rarely raining melted the temple little by little. The beauty now in harmony with the rocky mountains is a co-creation of man and nature. And one day, it will disappear into the rock.
めったに降らない雨が、少しずつ神殿を溶かした。岩山と調和する今の美しさは、人間と自然の共作。そしていつか、岩山に消える。
It is thanks to the imagination given to human beings that we can keep looking at unmoving things and not get tired of it.
動かぬものをずっと眺めて飽きないのは、人間に与えられた想像力のおかげ。
A simply pleasant view.
シンプルに気持ちいい景色。
The man guarding the small watchtower in the rocky mountains, where only the sound of the wind could be heard, played the flute very well.
風の音しか聴こえない岩山の小さな見張り小屋を護る男性は、とても上手に笛を吹いていた。
Rain melts like man carves. There are works of rain on every rock face.
人が彫るなら雨は溶かす。全ての岩肌に雨の作品。
I may never come here again. Thinking that, I began to wonder why I was experiencing such a precious emotion all by myself.
もう、ここには一生来ないかもしれない。そう思ったら、わからなくなった。なぜ、こんな大事な感動をたった一人で味わっているのか。

A specialty sand painting that attracted me at first sight. I gave up buying it because I didn't want to increase the number of ornaments in my room. I felt a little sad that the time when I could innocently increase my belongings seemed to be over.
ひと目で惹かれた名産品の砂絵。部屋の置物を増やしたくないから買うのをやめた。無邪気に持ち物を増やせる時期が終わったようで少しさみしかった。

A 10-minute drive from the village is this view. In this country, inhabited land is rarer.
村から車で10分も走ればこの景色。この国は、人が住んでいる土地の方が稀。
